I'm currently based in Chamonix at the moment and will be leaving at the end of July to find some harder sport climbing. I'm meeting a friend in Ceuse on the 20th of August but till then I'm looking to find somewhere to climb hard and hang out.
I'm a 23 year old Australian in Europe till mid-September, can lead up to 7a/7b on sport, 6b on trad. I've got no car, but I have camping gear.
Let me know if you're looking for a partner in France/Northern Spain/Italy/Switzerland!
Hi Nick, I'm in Paris on August 13th after travelling through Europe with my non-climber girlfriend this summer. She'll be heading home so I'm looking to climb for a few weeks before I have to fly home Sept 2nd. I'll be going south to meet a friend in Mallorca and hoping to climb around Chamonix and the Pyrenees along the way.
Ceuse would be cool too but it sounds like you're quite a bit climbing harder than me. I lead bolted 6c and maybe 6a on gear, not too sure about European grades. Maybe we could meet up if you're in need of a belay/rental car share, if not, maybe you could give me some tips about Chamonix, like where to stay and how to meet partners there.
I'm leaving Sardonia on Aug 17 looking to climb either in either France or Spain (I imagine France would be cooler temps?) after. I have camping gear minus a stove, sport climbing gear, and willing to split car rental costs.
Looks like we climb the same range and even if we end up in an odd number we could find more to tag along!
