Climbers in Morganton?

It looks like I'm moving to Morganton, NC in August for work. I'm familiar with many of the outdoor areas, and I've climbed on 221, but I'm curious as to whether there are climbers in Morganton itself, and how they train, given that there is no commercial gym around. Is it a woody paradise or what?

There are definitely climbers around there along with some bouldering, indoors and out. However the will likely not be found on here

Cool, anywhere in particular I should ask, or someone that I should contact?

Western Piedmont CC used to teach climbing classes--not sure whether they still do, but someone there may be able to offer advice on indoor walls.

Thanks, I'll get in touch with them. I will try the partner finder when I move up, its still a couple months away and I have only limited time to travel these days.
