Any recommendations on time of year to climb and then ski Pico de Orizaba. I'm looking for optimum snow coverage/ski conditions.

Any other recommendations on where to stay, other things to see, what to watch out for, ect. would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not much of a skier but it seems that the "optimal" time to ski and the climbing don't really go hand in hand. I was there in early Jan 2013 to climb. Great climbing conditions with rock hard ice and snow. While you could have skied it I don't think it wold have been too....errr...pleasant. It would have been fast though.

Typical climbing season is Mid Nov. thru February'ish. Definetly, hands down, without a doubt drop these people an email.
