City of Rocks/ Redfish Lake partner wanted

I will be in the City on the 18th and 19th on a family camping trip. Then moving on to Redfish Lake with hopes of doing the Regular Route on Redfish Slab. I will be traveling with full rack and rope and willing to swap leads up to well protected 5.10. If you have kids, that's a plus as my boys will be up for some easy topropes. Old codgers especially wanted!

Hi Eddie! I met and climbed with you years ago in NC! Anyway, I won't be able to climb with you but wanted to say hello and good luck finding a partner! May I suggest Mountaineers route via the first two pitches of Chasing the dragon in the Elephant's Perch while are in Redfish Lake? I believe you can do the route in a day. Shiho

Hi Shiho!! I was sorely tempted to try the Elephant's Perch, but with two small boys waiting back at camp it would be hard to convince the wife that I need to get away for a looong day.
