Description
Fantastic climb, every pitch is interesting and on solid rock throughout. Since its refurbishment, it is also a very tame affair. Only downside is that it runs so close to other routes, sharing half a pitch with the Südpfeiler route and getting intersected by another.
Note: topo of the route as per Schaechental guidebook was prior to refurbishment and belay anchors have been moved.
P1: 6a+, easy scramble, then a nice short sequence of steep face climbing
P2: 6b, awesome, steep corner!
P3: 5b+, easy, traversing pitch
P4: 6a+, brilliant face climbing on small, positive holds
P5: 6a, another fantastic pitch, traversing left on small edges and water pockets
P6: 6a, initially following the südpfeiler route up the prominent crack system, then leaving the crack up a face to the right
