Description
Single pitch trad routes on rhyolite columns a good way up the hill. Sound rock, however some cracks are dirty with moss/lichen in places otherwise good for gear. Topo says there are two sets of bolt anchors here, however I was only able to find one. The grades range from 15 to 19, so its a good spot for beginning climbers and trad leaders. Gets sun all day.
Getting There
For your safety and sanity, follow the climbers path past the bases (downhill side) of the west, central and east pinnacles. Past the east pinnacle, cairns mark out a faint trail up the hill to the crag. Going any other way will result in bushwhacking up the mountain, clinging to bushes and grass for dear life! Approach takes maybe 20 minutes from the hut.
