The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description
Moderate moves take you up a very shallow crux finger crack. A variety of tricky moves are needed to get past this section and up to a horizontal crack. Hand jamming above leads to a small overhang and the top.
