Chicks With Nuts Women's Only Trad Climbing Event

Join us in Seneca Rocks,WV this July 13th and 14th for our Chicks With Nuts Women's only Trad climbing event hosted by Seneca Rocks Mountain Guides . Chicks With Nuts is an opportunity for women of all experience levels to get together to become more competent Trad climbers. With a 2:1 student to instructor multi pitch ratio, the SRMG guides make an effort to cater each course to the individual.

Day 1 is jam packed with a variety of climbing in store for everyone. In the morning the Chicks With Nuts ladies will all head for Seneca together to get some Top roping in. In addition to giving everyone the opportunity to meet/climb with/get to know one another, the SRMG guides will have the opportunity to evaluate your skills first hand before breaking everyone up into partners. In addition to spending the morning top roping, we will start to break up into smaller groups to work on specific skills such as gear placement, anchor building, and self rescue. Around 1 pm we will break up into groups and everyone will go get some multi pitch climbing in. After a packed day of climbing we will all head down for dinner and festivities.

Day 2 will be a day to really focus on individual skills. After having worked for a full day everyone will have an idea of what skills they would like to improve on most. Depending on experience levels, climbing teams will either head out for more multi pitch climbing on Seneca, or they will stay closer to the ground to work on specific leading, anchor building, self rescue skills, etc.

This is a different group-- we are a much smaller business that works solely out of Seneca Rocks,WV (for the time being!) organized by die hard dirt bags...err I mean rock climbers. Chicks with Nuts was just too great a name to pass up!!
