Chestnut Hill faces north, has pretty good rock quality if you stick to the quartzite rock type, requires some exploration and hillside hiking, and is definitely adventure climbing. The most obvious of the Chestnut Hill crags is the roadside cliff.

Getting There Suggest change

On the mountainside near the intersection of 340 and Chestnut Hill Rd. The roadside crag is approximately 75 yards uphill from the intersection of 340 and Chestnut Hill Rd on the left. Park in a pull off up the road a bit or park down on 340 and walk up to the cliffs.
