This detached buttress provides good shade and some good rock that is worth warming up on before scrambling up to the main ledge below God Knows. Some warms ups are set and there are numerous other options that can be climbed here. Cherub is also a nice staging area for the final scramble up to The Face of God Area.
See overview route map for location relative to the other areas. Access from the trail that is farther south, which leads straight uphill to Cherub.

The west facing rock accessed from the same location as Goddamn Rock, on the inside of the “corridor” between the detached rock and the main slope. The bush in question was removed after it messed up the ground up on-sight solo FA of AMH. The prickly yucca midway up was left in the rock as a tribute to the Goddamn Bush.
