Just moved to the area, new to the MP community and working to advance my climbing and meet partners.

If you're looking for a place to learn and not wanting to drive too far, Leda is pretty good. Easy bolted routes that are all great for TR, but during the weekend expect a line. Once you start getting a little better the selection of climbs there does start to become a problem. If you're willing to drive a little bit farther, it's hard to beat Foster Falls for selection of climbs.

Big Alligator.

Check out Urban Rocks climbing gym. You will meet a lot of good people that hang out there during the week. urbanrocksgym.com

Welcome! There is plenty of climbing in and around Chattanooga and you will not be disappointed! To meet some of the locals check out Urban Rocks, TBA Gym, and the Crash Pad. For convenient top rope head to LEDA or Sunset. For Trad check out T-wall and bouldering there is LRC. Head over to the Tennessee link under the Destinations section of the site to get a pretty good beta for each spot.

Thanks for the tips. Definitely want to check out Leda and T-wall. Tried Deep Creek on Sunday, worth going back. Urban Rocks sounds great as well.

Chilling on a hammock anchored with nuts made from tied rope.

Welcome to the area. Chattanooga has some of the best single pitch climbing in the States, sport and trad. How much experience do you have? A group of climbers are going to the Obed Aug 17-19 if you would like to join us. PM for contact info.
