Description 

This is the main bouldering area of the Davis Boulders, with the highest concentration of problems and the best rock. The Central area begins with the Corridor Boulders, then The Widowmaker Area. You'll see the Mayhem Boulder as a big long boulder to the left of the trail. Above the Widowmaker Area lies the House Boulder which is unmistakable, and beyond that is The Laboratory and The Shallow Corner Boulder.

Some people don’t like lip traverse boulder problems. Those people have not climbed Double Heelix. Start on the far right on the obvious spike. Throw a heel up, and start traversing left, past a slopey section, an awkward section, and to the left corner. Top out.
