The central area is a very beautiful area with a good 5.9 warm-up and some stiff moderate routes. This has a few classics but not as much as the left side. The classics here are: Dark Special 5.10a, Jumping Jack Flash 5.10b, Light special 5.10c, 38 special 5.10c, Amazing Grace 5.11b, and Peyote Pump 5.11b.

Getting There

From the left side you hike up to Gasoline ally then turn the corner and you will see the main area. It is so beautiful.

If you have just started leading 5.11+ this is not a route for you. But if you are comfortable leading 5.11+ then go ahead and try it. If it wasn't for the gear anchor this would get more attention. ...[more]   Browse More Classics in CA
