Description Suggest change

Cemetery cliff is a rarely visited cliff just outside the town of North Conway. The cliff is a bit overgrown these days but good climbing can still be found. With some cleaning efforts some more routes would be worth while. The routes here are mostly trad but there are a couple sport routes as well. An easy approach close to the saco river.

Getting There Suggest change

From the intersection of River Road and West Side Road drive 3.4 miles west (passing Humphrey’s)  on West Side until the road starts to climb a short hill. Look for a hard to see dirt road on the left just before the corner. “Road“ is exactly opposite the 25mph and 90-degree curve sign. Park ( 1 car) at small pull-out, or follow the dirt road a short distance and park (2 cars) at an old cemetery. The cliff is visible from here. Walk uphill, starting just right of the cemetery, for a few minutes to the base of the cliff.

[2022 a downed tree semi-blocks the dirt road with its branches. ]
