Cathedral Report

Has anybody been up to Cathedral yet? I have a week off next week and I'm thinking of going up to try and get on some routes.

Any update on Cathedral? Has this week of sun helped to dry things out?

Was up there this past weekend when it was thawing out from the cold. Cathedral ledge road is still 4x4 only but the walk in is pretty mild.

The prow area is free of ice but lots of the cracks were wet/running. The 3rd and 4th pitches of the Prow were in full rain once the cliffs warmed up and started dripping. Recompense p2 is soaked though beast flake was dry

Thin air face and mordor wall were seeing lots of big ice fall and were pretty wet. While most of the big ice has probably come down by now - it was pretty thunderous over the weekend - I would be very careful in the area between the prow and thin air face, pretty much constant ice fall
