If you live in the Blacksburg Area and like to boulder than there is no reason not to come to the Cascades at least once. The biggest reason in my opinion is for this boulder in particular (there are several other amazing boulders and a kickass waterfall, but the Cascadia Boulder is SO CLOSE!)...
The Cascadia Boulder is literally 2 minutes worth of level and downhill walking from the parking-lot, and it offers v2, v5, v7/8, and v11 potential... All the while being in a scenic forest and stream-side setting. Whats not to love?

This boulder has two short vertical sides and a front with an 8-9 foot vertical roof. Solid landing...

Getting There 

Park. Get paddage on your back. Walk up the trail for 1.5-2 minutes. Look down the hill by the stream on your right at the massive boulder. Connect the dots.
