Description
A few miles north of Ossagon Rocks is another great collection of rocks. There are three large walls that are each at least 80' tall, one of which currently has several great top ropes. Furthermore, there are about 20 boulders tightly packed into the beach with probably 50-80 great boulder lines. The lines are mostly 15-35' tall and appear to range the whole spectrum from V0-VHard. There is some cool potential for bolted lead lines on each of the three large formations.
Getting There
Take the northern Newton B. Drury Parkway exit from Hw. 101. (Second exit and 50.8 miles north from Wildberries in Arcata) Follow the road west until the first right turn (Coastal Drive). Drive a little ways until you see a trailhead sign on your left at a pull out. The coastal drive is closed off very soon after the trailhead.
The hike is .8 miles down a well defined, slightly steep trail.
