Description

Carchost lies just west of the Guardian route and rock formation. Together with its counterpart Narchost, they were known as The Towers of the Teeth and flanked the Black Gate of Mordor, otherwise known as the Morannon.

Getting There

Hike past the Outer Outlet toward Riddle. Just before Riddle, take the obvious trail uphill to the left, passing the routes Waste Knot, Master of Rack, and Morannon. Carchost is the rib of rock just past The Guardian.
