Cogswell Tower

Description

A large area bordered by Kane Creek to the north, Lockhart Basin to the west, Hwy 191 to the east and Hart's Draw to the south. The plateau is split by a beautiful remote canyon, Hatch Wash in which a small number of routes have been established, due to it's relative remoteness and difficult accessibility.

Getting There

Take Hwy 191 south from Moab, exit at either Looking glass road or further south on the Canyon Rims Recreation Area exit.

The route begins on the right side of the south face. p1: Start in a cleft which tapers into a fist/hand crack and a right-facing dihedral, the pitch angles right through easier gro...[more]   Browse More Classics in UT
