cant draw on my pictures

Hi. I wanted to draw liness on two pics I submitted today. The instructions mention "press enter" when you are done drawing a line. Ok how do I start? I've selected "line tool" and "solid line" i dont' get really how to select a color but whatever color is fine. Can anyone explain this as I'm not that computer savvy... J5
