Camping/Climbing near Steamboat?

I am looking to go camping and climbing with a group around Steamboat Springs this weekend. Looking for BLM land that doesn't require reservations and would love a spot close to any climbing. Never been to Steamboat so not entirely sure where the best place to be is. Talked briefly to some people at the BLM office and would just also love any opinions from climbers. Thoughts?? Thanks!
