Camping and/or climbing buddies for 7/26-8/3
|
I will be travelling solo from AR to RMNP from 7/26 to 8/3. As camping is pretty expensive, especially for one person, I am looking for someone/people to share the camping fee with. I usually just sleep in my car, so even if you just have a parking spot thats all i need. |

I'm also looking to share a campsite! Feel free to call six one four-286-8258 |

Plus there is more camping on Hwy 7; in nederaland, allenspark / the ironclads. The only thing you need to really know is you need permits for the indian peaks. mountainproject.com/v/free-… mountainproject.com/v/campi… There's disbursed camping not far from the Beaver Creek entrance, as well. |

Thanks for all the info! this is great news. I knew there had to be cheaper camping around, I just know last time i was there we didnt utilize our resources well enough. Thanks again!! |

Quick question: do you need a permit for camping in the free forestry lands? If so, how do you obtain one? |

Only the backcountry stuff in the Indian peaks. The rest of it is off forest service roads and is free. |
