I bought this harness about 2 months ago and have been so impressed with it that I thought I'd write a review.

I bought it as an ice and alpine climbing harness because I was tired of packing my bulky BD Aspect everywhere, but now I find I'm using the Air CR for everything - even rock.

It's a superlight harness - only a few grams heavier than a single-purpose harness like the BD Couloir but super functional for all types of climbing. It's quite comfortable, although it's not a super-cushy harness, it breathes well, has nice gear loops, two ice clipper slots, a haul loop, adjustable legs, and a super slick trick for keeping your belay biner oriented properly. I don't know why all harnesses don't have this simple little system for preventing belay-biner twist.

Anyway, it's a great harness. Anybody considering a ice/alpine harness should have a look at this one. If you're looking for a simple, lightweight harness for any purpose, the CAMP Air CR is great.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
