White Lines Boulder

Description 

Best boulder on Donner Pass Road! White Lines and Pimp Slap are both shown in the movie Rampage. Other problems are in the area, including a couple excellent moderates. Problems are on high quality granite and most require more than one pad. White Lines gets morning and late afternoon shade. Approaching from the dirt road is trespassing!

Getting There 

Park at the Road Cut pull-out, and scramble down the talus for 8-9 minutes. Easier than it looks. The Lake Tahoe Bouldering guide book describes the approach best.

Called the "Midnight Lightning" of Tahoe, White Lines is a must do boulder problem. For a difficult problem, the holds aren't too bad. The top out is high up with a big rock below, however the holds keep getting better the further up you go. Several spotters are highly recommended!
