Wally leads 'Room To Shroom' while Christina belay...


Description 

Most folks that hike out to the Room To Shroom Area intend to climb one route - you guessed it - Room To Shroom, a megaclassic 5.9 handcrack. Chemical Warfare, 5.10b, is basically a variation of 'Shroom. Both routes are descended by 1 rope rappel from large pinyon pine.


Getting There 

Approach from Barker Dam parking lot. Follow main trail to dam and continue north through wash. Bear northwest (left) past Escape Rock. The Room To Shroom formation will be on your right, but hidden until you pass it and look back. Scramble up rocks to get to base of route.
