Rock quality is solid and featured with many edges making it a wonderful destination for beginners or people looking to get some mileage in.
This area is often crowded but provides many routes to chose from between 5.6 - 5.10 c/d.
Bolted anchors primarily of closed shuts but some chains exist. PLEASE use your own draws for top roping to avoid unnecessary wear on anchors. South Facing Wall with many easy to moderate routes. Rock quality and routes much better than appear at first glance from the road.
NOTE: Southern CA Sport Climbing Guide 3rd edition topo is incorrect. Page 213 indicates topo numbering does not match route description numbers.
Adjust accordingly - Per topo route #763 going up the mid-crag pinnacle is #764 "Three Giant Steps". Shift all routes left or right as needed.
Getting There
Drive in towards main parking area passing the turn offs for Predator Wall and Roadside Crag. Shortly thereafter the road splits and providing a parallel passage - look for large concrete slab in front of a busted out spray painted boulder. Park there. The crag is located directly behind that area with easily identifiable trails.
The concrete slab in front of Boy Scout Wall has the distinction of being the site of the first homicide in 2007 in San Bernardino County. The shooting occurred at 15 minutes after midnight on January 1.
