Description

Beautiful boulders with amazing views of the ocean. You can see these boulders from Hwy 1 (if your driving South) so I would imagine they could become pretty popular if only someone would cut the brush back and improve the faint trails to the boulders. The rock is superb, there is very little loose rock, although some of the East facing routes have some lichen growing on them.

Getting There

Driving Directions from the South
Take Highway 1 North approximately 65 miles North of San Luis Obispo, 25 miles North of San Simeon and Hearst Castle. Take the first right after the little town of Gorda onto Willow Creek Road. Take an immediate left go up a steep dirt road the boulders are on your left the first one is easily reached from the road the second boulder is about 100 feet off the road. Be careful there is poison ivy in the area I would recommend long pants.
