  • Access is limited in the spring and summer due to peregrine falcon nesting; so there are some closures. Checking with the Adirondack Climbers Coalition or the NYDEC can provide the closure status.
  • Peregrine closures and approach trail issues MORE INFO >>>

  • Description

The only feasible looking line on the Waterfall Wall. The 2nd pitch dihedral is obvious. Climb up cracks to anchors. Stock up on small nuts for the exciting finish.

    Location

    On the waterfall wall.

    Protection

    Up to #3 camelot.

Oy! What a delicate finish!!! Judging by the dense foliage at the base, I was the first one on this perhaps this year. This route will test your nerve, even more so than Macho.

What is the meaning of Pitch 1 only? I have the 3rd edition of the Adirondack Mountain Club and it says there are two pitches with the top most pitch being the 5.11 stem party...is this now completed in one pitch?
