BETA PHOTO: Broken Foot ascends the left trending crack.

Description

Broken Foot is an appealing looking short crack on the east side of the Old Sandstone climbing area. If you've done all the classics, or want to try a fun and easy lead, this is your route. Although it's short the route combines a lot of different climbing into a mere 40 feet. Start out with some finger and hand jams down low, move up to the layback flake feature (which is a very cool feature) and then stem your way up to the top. Anchor at the top on some trees.

Location

25 yards east past Pacific Ocean Wall.

Protection

Standard Rack

I had a number 7 Wild Country Rock get stuck in the top crack, if anyone can free it, you are much stronger than I, and feel free to keep it as a trophy of your nut retrieving abilities.
