Description Suggest change

The huge square cut boulder. The Briscoe County Boulder features short, but more traditionally bolted lines. The rock is more friable and features fewer pockets then found elsewhere at Texas Canyon. While the boulder may appear featured and solid, the stone is more akin to what John Long has characterized as "vertical mud." And there's the poison oak, as well.

Getting There Suggest change

Follow directions to the Panhandle. Continue past this wall to the far left end, over a rocky step and then left down a trail that leads to the Briscoe County Boulder and it's four routes.
