Description Suggest change

Brimstone Edge is the main south facing wall at Brimstones. It is sunny all day. The edge comes out of a bog so the midges can be bad in the summer months.

Getting There Suggest change

The approach is 30-45 minutes.

From the parking lot, head due North(straight if you were coming into the parking lot from town). Stay right at the first split in the road just a short distance in from the parking lot.

Stay left at the split 20 minutes in. The way to the right is for the Aghanaglack Dual Court Grave and there should be a sign for this. It is not too far from the last split and you should be able to see it off to the left but I would recommend to approach it from the top because the bush is thick from the bottom. The road turns shortly after you pass the edge and puts you above. There was no visible path when we went and there are massive hidden crevices where the brimstones have broken away. So mind where you are walking. If you hooked around and are looking off of the edge, approach it to the left(east) side. The GPS co-ordinates are precise and you can clearly see the edge on the map.
