This is the first climb encountered upon entering the amphitheater. At the base, set up an anchor to belay off of with small aliens or TCUs. Ok...I am not usually a kill joy but this place...sucks. My girlfriend and I were visiting the Grand Canyon and thought we would climb in this area. The climbs are choss. Loose stuff all over the place along with lots of rock on top of each climb. You will rain down rock on your partner when you top off. Not sure why anyone would want to climb roof right and left. The sport climbs to the right of these look loose and the first bolt is about 15 feet up with sketchy belay for your partner. I am usually up for climbing anything but this place is something to skip. Enjoy the canyon instead. Oh...there is a nice boulder problem at the start of the trail. Otherwise stop and go no further.
