Description Suggest change

Caution: The name of this crag is a good hint as to what you can encounter here: Burning Nettles. I recommend wearing pants at least for the approach because there are plenty of these little demon plants (for a description of them see Löwenstein) choking the path. At the base of the rock you're fine, as you can see in some of the pictures.
A pleasant little wall with nice routes. It gets some sun in the morning, and certainly longer when there are no leaves on the trees. The majority of the holds are positive pockets and cracks. My route descriptions deviate for some of the routes from what is given in the guidebooks and website because to me they don't make any sense. I climbed all of these routes and the descriptions here are the most logical run of the line for me.
There is another one or two routes further to the left of Graue Platte on another wall. I don't recommend going there because the routes are very easy looking and the way is blocked by burning nettles. There is also another easy route to the right of Kleine Platte. Feel free to contribute it if you do it. Finally, I also didn't do the hardest route here (Mann über Bord, 8) as it was wet. If you want to do it, it's between Kleiner Riss and Paralyse.

Getting There Suggest change

From the parking lot head across the bridge and at the T-intersection, take a right. Continue 100m until a small climber's trail branches off uphill and to the left. Follow this to the crag.
