Description

This climb is a must if you want to complete all the highballs on the Big and Tall boulder, but otherwise you might want to walk past like you always do. The route is typically covered in pine needles, but if you are good on your feet and can keep a calm head then cleaning off needles as you go won't be a problem. From a stand start work up the blunt arete to the left of CREAM. Avoid working right and finishing CREAM. With some committing smears you will figure out a sequence to the top.

Location

on the "big and tall" boulder to the left of CREAM.

Protection

a pad, a spotter, and a cool head

Felt maybe easier than V1, but the landing and height make up for that. I found that technique was all that was needed to glide up the arete. Decent hands, but feet abound, you just have to figure out the sequence and keep it cool.
