Bouldering guide to Utah

I'm heading to Utah to boulder in a couple weeks. Does anyone want to lend me their guidebook?
I know it's worth a lot of money but I would send it right back to you after my week trip to Utah. I could send some collateral if you don't feel comfortable loaning to a stranger. Anyway this is probably a long shot but thought I would ask anyway.
Thanks!

I'm in the same boat as Kevin F.

Traveling down from Canada next month and want to do some bouldering but am having difficulty getting detailed information in a way that is usable.

drtopo.com/north-america/un… has 11 pgs. on Joe's and stuff on Ogden and Blanding, but that's it.

Is there seriously no other topo info currently available for places like Big Bend? I appreciate Greg G's offer to part with his guide for $16,000, but I am wondering if there isn't something else out there...

Can anyone offer advice to a traveler from the north?

Lemme know what areas you're interested in and I'll scan them up for you.

Or I'll trade it to you for 1,000 Wonderbars and 500 bags of Old Dutch pickle chips.

Joe's Valley and Big Bend, please! If you live anywhere near the I-15 I will hand deliver Wonderbars and pickle chips. If not, I can at least mail you some Wonderbars.

You can send to jeremiahaherne at hotmail dot com

Can't tell you how much I value this good will effort. Very much appreciated.

FYI - Information from Wolverine Press on the Utah Bouldering Guide:

I live in Moab and know Big Bend pretty well. I'd love to Boulder with you just PM me when you get here. I am available evenings and weekends. There is a guide for Joes specifically it's not the most accurate but will get you around and has enough info to keep you busy. It looks like it's unavailable on line but there are 2 gear store here in town that carry it. joesvalleyguidebook.com/

You can also stop at local libraries in the SLC area and make copies of the areas that you are interested in. This is a bit old school though. Maybe take pics with your smartphone?

Doh, just checked, no copies right now. Brian, you've got a pretty good library, do you have that one? Wanna trade for a spare copy of the Good Book ;)
Your Mont Blanc is a ski book, no? Don't have that one.

I do have both copies of the Black Bible, though. The first issue and the re-issue. Too fun.

Brian, if there is this much mula for da books, we should all quits our jobs and create the Utah Climbing Encyclopedia! We could get Berto and the womens, and make it a 26 volume britanica!

I would use my herd of howling biuttheads to keep the riff raff away, and we would get all the locals to give up their secuerts using our charms and well, you know... :-)

Map, GPS, photo, film local and guest star poises... It would be all anyone could want!

We need some venture capital! You have any?

The Black Diamond store in SLC has a store copy of Bouldering Guide to Utah that you can go in and take a look at. Obviously cant take it with you but it could be helpful to get some beta off of.

FWIW Karl Kelly's High on Moab has a Big Bend section. I believe it's the only thing currently in print with BB info.

I found a pristine copy at my local gym a while back. I don't think they knew what they had. I just said, "give me that". It was all a bit hazy after that It was all like a dream. About a month later I'm in Utah with the guide. I go to take it out and think, what the hell am I doing? It could get ruined. Friend asks if he can look at it: hell no. I'll never use this thing, it's worth too much. So I burned it..

just kidding. Seriously though, it's my precious.
