Is there much bouldering at the city? I am new to the area and cannot find any guides for bouldering down there and I have never visited City of Rocks. Thanks! |

Sure, all you can handle. There is some great stuff at the base of Elephant Rock. Also some good stuff at Castle Rocks as well. There is some sick stuff on you tube. |

probably because the actual rock climbing is so damn good is why you cant "find" anything. the city is probably the worst place to crush pebbles in the region, go to Dierkes lake for that brah. |

Wiki Boulder has good info on Castle Rocks. Walk around Elephant Rock and the Checkered Demon for the best bouldering the City proper has to offer, like one of the best in the west
