Bouldering around Moab

I have been in Moab for almost two months now and have spent a good deal of time at Big Bend for bouldering but I've been looking for other areas to try. Ever since I drove by them the first time, the boulders sitting on the East side of highway 191 just North of Arches have looked enticing. I stopped by them today to check them out and the rock looks like good quality and there is potential for some great problems there. I was just curious why people don't climb these boulders more? Is it on private property or is it just because there isn't great parking nearby? Let me know because if I'm not going to be breaking any laws I'm definitely planning on giving them a couple days work.

You'll have to check the exact boundaries but the boulders you're thinking of are probably actually still in Arches (the park boundary runs very close to 191 almost up until the turnoff for Gemini Bridges). Unless you're past that Gemini Bridges turnoff that's all either BLM or NPS land. Wrestle those pebbles.

This used to be an awesome place to boulder. The park closed the area when it was determined the boulders were too near cultural resource areas.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
