Really just a little known extension of the Indian Creek Boulders, Boulder Lane hosts three good boulders. While not a destination grouping of boulders like other areas in Yosemite, Boulder Lane is a good place to get in some off season bouldering because of its location on the sunny side of the Valley. Also, a great place for locals to add to their list of places in the Village to get a quick workout.
Getting There
Follow the signs to the US Magistrate, turn right onto Boulder Ln. The first boulder is next to the road on the right. The other boulders are behind the beautiful oak trees across the street to the left.
Because of the location on the edge of a residential area, as well as the US Magistrate, it is best to be respectful and low key. Not a place to party boulder, but a great place to boulder with your Deg Muffin. If you feel like you are imposing on anyone, it is best to quietly walk away and head to another area.
