Boulder Kid Friendly sites

I've been searching around a bit, both scouting and digging thru the forums, for some good sites for me and my 11 year old son. Lots of sites exist for the trad leader, but I don't have trad gear yet, or the training to use it. So, I'm limited to sport and TR sites. Climbs should be in 5.6 to 5.8 range, and approach and base area should be kid and non-climber (spouse) friendly.

So far, I see Boulderado, Riviera, and Watermark as reasonable, but each has some issues: Boulderado is real near the road and has above average rock fall danger, Riviera (Chouette) is runout for sport only, and Watermark has the creek to deal with (actually could be a plus for son with the tyrolean, but need an extra party to have an adult climber on both sides).

So there are some there, just looking to see if anyone has other sites to add to the list. Any ideas?

Golden Cliffs in Golden has lots of TR and safe sport climbing options. Approach is not bad and the base is certainly fine for an 11 year old and spouse.

Additionally, the Sport Park in Boulder canyon is super toprope and clip up friendly. The creek is probably very low and easy to wade across right now, the approach is short and easy, blah, blah, blah...

You need "Fun Climbs Colorado" by Sibylle Hechtel.
REI had it last week.

A trad rack is always good too.

Boulder Rock Club. Table mountain, Flagstaff certain areas. TR possible on easy stuff.

Supremacy Rock in Eldo. Easy to rig top ropes, faces from 5.5 up, great in the summer because of proximity to creek. 30 seconds from car.

Hi Wayne ~ I've taken youngins to Lookout Mtn before. Easy wall to set up from top, nice granite slab climbing also with a few crack options. It does face north however so you may want to put that on top-o'the list

Didn't Table Mtn recently have some rockfall..? - something to remember with this particular area mentioned...

Boulder creek is indeed low enough to rock hop across it for both the sport park and the watermark.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
