I just picked up a mint pair of boreal vectors on fleebay for $19 They are a size & 1/2 down from my street shoe. My guess when I bought them was that they will stretch to accommodate my feet. But they seem way too small. Anyone have personal experience with boreal vector stretch?
Have you tried wearing them? I had a pair in the mid 90s, in 6 or 6.5 (don't really remember which), and I wear a 9 or 8.5 street. I remember that they were somewhat uncomfortable, but bearable, and I liked them enough to go through at least two resoles. By the way, you may consider a resole sooner than later...The early Boreal rubber is awful.

I was able to get my feet in them but standing was difficult

I made the same mistake when I bought mine however many years ago. 1.5 sizes down from street shoe - the pain made climbing anything at least a grade more difficult. Sold them to a friend and bought a new pair only a half size smaller, and even that was tight. They didn't stretch much at all for me.

As a follow up I have worn them 3 times. Maxed out by pain at 20 min but clearly they are stretching. I'm going to keep working on them.
