Approaching the final corner
Add Photo Printer View
Description Start below a low roof on the ledge just right of kamikaze. Surmount the roof and traverse left past a bulge (stay low) and follow a left rising traverse to a beautiful bombay corner (now shared w/war & peace) with a live Red Pine lying horizontally across the top. Finish up this corner to a tree belay. Rappel from tree or hike off.
Protection Normal rack with small wireds. Probably still one or two pitons in place.

| This is a really good route done before we embraced bolts. The final corner was exciting for sure. Chris Buckley did war and peace on top rope the same year. It's probably a lot safer now as I'm sure there'll be some bolts en route. I doubt the traffic at the cliff will be low enough to allow one to cross so many routes these days though. |
