This dome hosts four traditional lines from 5.4 to 5.7 that go to the top of the dome in a single pitch.

To descend, scramble off the back side of the dome.

Getting There 

Follow the Climber Access trail west past the spurs for The Tan Corridor and the Dungeon. The Bombardier Dome is the formation on the right, directly off the trail.

Daddy Can Climb V1 5  CO : South Platte : ... : Bombardier Dome
Start off standing on a good foot ledge about 1' off the ground. Then reach to a crimp above. Traverse to the left until you find a good hold to work to the top with. You can walk over the top and scramble down a little gully that is actually the base of Bombardier Dome. The climb has a slight incline, but the holds are not super easy either. So I feel it's a good little problem to practice on. Plus, there are no boulder routes advertised in the area, so it's nice to have something to climb with...[more]   Browse More Classics in CO
