Description Suggest change

Blow Me Down, also known as Jabo by the locals in Francois, is a beautiful 1280' south facing dome of clean granite rising straight out of Devil's Bay.
There are approximately 20 established routes on the cliff ranging in difficulty from 5.9 - 12c. The best climbing season is July through Sept. May and June are climbable but are also the foggiest.
I'll continue to add route descriptions etc. I've included a short account of my first trip to the bay in 1994 with Jeff Butterfield and Chris Kane.

Getting There Suggest change

Ferries can take you from Hermitage or Burgeo to the remote community of Francois. From there you will need to charter a fishing boat to take you out to Devil's Bay.
