Description

Non-descript, but worth doing once...

The online guide gives this one a .9

[First clip is definitely the crux. After that the grade drops significantly. Nice climbing above, big pockets, a bit run-out from bolt 2 to 3, but nothing hazardous because the climbing is easy.]

Location

Toward right side of wall. This one is the 2nd bolted line right of Walt's Waltz

Protection

[7] Bolts. As usual B1 is a stretch.

First clip is definitely the crux--if you're looking for an easy 5.8, or if 5.8/5.9 is your limit, you may want to consider stick-clipping the first bolt. After that the grade drops significantly. Nice climbing above, big pockets, a bit run-out from bolt 2 to 3, but nothing hazardous because the climbing is easy.

7 bolts. Bolts 2-3 and 4-5 are pretty run out but the climbing is 5.6ish between. Fun climb.

At least a 5.9. This route is a classic example of someone deciding to average the overall difficulty instead of rating it by it's hardest move. Getting to the bottom bolt is about a V1 boulder problem. The rest was no harder than 5.7 maybe even 5.6.
