Description Suggest change

This often looked-at line follows a series of pockets and flakes just left of the "Rat Cave." Climb straight up behind and to the right of the tree to a moon shaped dish, then make a committing high step and rock-over move to overcome the crux bulge. An easier but fun face leads to a pine tree belay.

Free soloed on the first ascent with an early evening moon rising in the East. In India, moonstones are regarded as 'dream stones' which bring the wearer beautiful visions at night.

Location Suggest change

Start at the left end of the "Rat Cave" at a beech tree, then continue straight up, staying left of the twin beech trees midway and up to a large pine.

Protection Suggest change

None used on the FA. It should be possible to girth hitch the first tree to protect the high boulder problem start to avoid decking.
