Please do not litter and observe all regulations. We had to fight to regain access at one time, and we don't want to lose the privilege again. Local ethics and refuge regulations are that no bolting is permitted unless expressly authorized by the park. Leave the hammer and nails at home, no fixed gear please. Everything will go clean.

Getting There
There is a pull-out at the far west end of the refuge to park in. There is a trail that takes you south meandering through the woods. Stay on this until you reach an open field. If you keep walking south you'll reach a sort of gully that is full of trees and brush. After a short walk up the hill you should be able to see the face of Big Whiskey to your left. It is big and covered with bright yellow/green lichen. Take the path of least resistance to the base of the cliff.
