Description

The large boulder with a north facing slab, found behind campsite #19. The face is covered by beautiful green lichen - hence the name "Big Greeny".

Start at the center of the slab and make your way to the top.

Location

Up the slope from campsite #19. Look for the obvious green slab. One of the few boulders at black mountain that has a walkoff instead of a downclimb.

Protection

Crashpad(s), spotter(s)

If you're under 5'7" or so, you won't be able to reach the finishing jug from the "good" foot hold making the last move quite a bit harder (though probably not harder than the opening moves) and much more frightening.

The real gemstone in this immediate area is a problem on the way to the left and back a ways from Greenie, called Moroccan Roll, good cranking off dimes at the start and exciting finish up high on 5.11 face. No cheat stone to start. Don't remember ever falling on it and you really don't want to neither . . .
