This tower grabs your eye if you are hiking down the Snow Creek trail or over at Pearly Gates. It sits up and right of Careno Crag. There are a few ways up it, but the south face crack is the best. This slope is south facing and very hot if the temps are above 70 degrees. Also beware of rattlesnakes lurking under rocks on the trail.

Getting There

Same approach as for Careno, about an hour from the road. The trail leads up above Careno passing Exotic Dancer( must do) and traverses right ward under several small cliffs till you come to the obvious tower.

After the big ledge and bush there are a couple of options. I went straight up a over hanging crack, maybe 5.9.I would give this 3 stars but it was pretty dirty....[more]   Browse More Classics in WA
