Let's hear some stories! I think one of my best was climbing Kor-Ingalls and watching a novice climber take a gigantic whip on pitch three as he tried to lie-back the offwidth. He wanted to redeem himself and try it again, but he was way too sketched out. We had arrived at the base of the tower at 8am and, because of the misfortune of the one slow group ahead of us, me, my wife, and the group behind us (who we tied ropes with to speed up the rap off the north face) ended being the only ones to summit Kor-Ingalls that day... around 7pm.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
