I travel to Moab quite offen to climb. I have all the Bjornie books but they are outdated. I guess Stewart Green put out the most recent guide book. Man it is pretty bad. It was like it was cut and pasted from the data base here. I don't know much about Mr Green but I have seen his names a couple of times in the old Bjornie guides so I guess he's climbed here a bit but that guide just seems like it was thrown together as an after thought. Maybe he should donate all his profits to Mountain Project seeing as that's where he got a majority of his (sometimes wrong) info. So if you are in need of a guide for the Moab area I'd think twice before buying this book. All the info is here on Mp.com. Nothing new in that book. Cool cover shot though. Never knew Chris Hill was a desert rat.

I wonder sometimes when people that have little personal interest in climbing anymore get all guidebooky on us, as far as Green goes he does have some $ interest I guess, the book will sell. I'd prefer to support the people who have spent the time and money doing the routes but as craggers go they are few and far between as far as writing books on the side. I compare all books to the Ruckman bros Wasatch book.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
